Summer time is much awaited for every one, the family can plan for a grand vacation, and overnight party at the beach or tour to places you have never been but this time, our vacation is different, the family has to look for a place where my grand parents can stay because they really need somebody to attend to their daily needs. So we began calling over the phone and looking for an Assisted Living centers, we went and see one place to another to be able to compare fees that is suitable to our budget and to see if they operates legally. We also make some inquiries with the help of the family members regarding the background of the center and its facilities being offered. After a week, my parents have already chosen an assisted living center to where we presume my grandparents safety and they will be taken care of. With the best services being offered we have peace of mind while doing our personal choirs.

God’s Message Through the Hands of Painter

As I was having dinner with my family and I was amazed about the portrait hanging on our dining wall. Never knowing about the details, I then begun to realize that it was a happy scene of friendship and loyalty. The scene was a group of children having meal with Jesus. All of the kids were seemingly in their most innocent face and I realized that they were all likely to street children now a days. Yes, it was a replica of the last supper and all the disciples were replaced by the street children.
What was the message of the painter that made him do a creation like this? At first I was curious of the intent of the creation, but all of the children in the painting were so thin and so malnourished that even their dresses would not fit to their built. It seemed to describe how Jesus have been so kind to his own creation specially the innocent children. I then got my attention to a single kid that was located under the table. The kids seemed to be not part of the group and was lonely. I think he was Judas in that scene, but he was holding a bread and seems to be silently eating it. It came to me that we were still blessed of the mercy of Jesus even of all the sins that we are doing till now.
Jesus left the world not end up the goodness, but to let us do the goodness in our hearts. He didn’t let us weep and be alone, instead he made us think of what decisions to make. Decisions between good or evil..

It is not whether you win or lose, it is how you play the game. This is the greatest lesson of sports, but it is also valuable to parenting. For children to become responsible adults, how you act after the game determines whether your kids truly win or lose.

Let the kids participate in sports because it will give them the opportunity to learn valuable lessons in life that they may use. But it is important the the parents help their children in applying to other areas of their life what they learn from sports. There are many important lesson that sports offer for us that we can reinforce to become the best coach that our kids will ever have in the toughest sports of all - life…

Love in the Eyes of Someone

Posted under Family, General by admin on Sunday 24 August 2008 at 4:33 pm

For someone to believe in the existence of something, she has to experience and to see it with her own eyes. This idea has been existing long before.

As I spend my vacation in our old town, I had the chance to talked to my cousin whom until now had not experience the so-called-thing love. While we are eating our merienda, I asked Mica why is it that at her age she never had a boyfriend. She just smiled at me and answered that maybe she had not seen love through the eyes of someone looking at her. She believed that like fairytales, one day her prince charming would come, take her hands and will asked her to marry him. But I told her that fairytales are different from the reality, they do not just come true. She should allow herself to feel love’s enchanting experience.

I guess my cousin is afraid to fall, scared to be hurt, embarrassed to show how she feels, irritated to be governed, petrified to take risks or maybe her man has not yet walked on her path. But I am certain that she is not a lesser of a person and not bitter in love.

I told her to stay believing in love because in one way or the other, it will come across. It is not a matter on how many have she had or how early. The important thing is that when love comes her way, it is the love she have not yet seen but she have always believed in.
